The NOVA Q verification standard
Six independent checks, an outside laboratory, and a report you can pull yourself. This is the standard every lot is held to before it is released.
Most of the category asks you to take purity on faith. The NOVA Q standard is built so that you do not have to. It rests on three commitments: independent testing, a complete panel, and lot-level traceability you can check without asking anyone’s permission.
Independent, not in-house
NOVA Q does not grade its own material. A representative sample is drawn from each finished lot and sent to an outside, accredited laboratory, and the certificate names that lab and the date of the report. Self-reported numbers with no named source are exactly the numbers that cannot be checked.
A complete panel, not a single number
Every lot is tested across six independent checks, and nothing ships without all six on record:
- Identity by HPLC-MS — the material is the compound the label claims.
- Purity by HPLC — the target peptide, separated from related-sequence impurities.
- Net peptide content — how much of the vial’s mass is actually peptide.
- Endotoxin by LAL — bacterial endotoxin, reported in EU/mg.
- Heavy metals by ICP-MS — arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.
- Appearance and fill — visual and gravimetric confirmation.
A lot that fails any one of the six is quarantined, not repriced. There is no discount tier for material that did not pass.
Traceable to the lot in your hand
Each vial carries a lot number and a QR code that resolves to the certificate for that exact batch. Not a representative report, not a batch that looked like yours — the one you received.
